"Well Mr.Brushiwitz you will either have to increase security or be more strict on your tenants." Detective Gram said sternly to Rudolf. Looking at the paperwork he had to sign Rudolf answered,"I will look into that Detective, but Officer Perez was the unofficial eyes and ears of the building-"Officer Perez is one of our best Officers, he is out of commission due to your lack of security."Detective Gram interjected. Rudolf practically threw the signed papers back to the Detective Gram."I will see that everything is improved Detective.Thank you for your concern and help."Rudolf replied angrily. Detective Gram gathered his officers and Rudolf watched as all of them exited the building. Brushing the sweat from his brow he walked over to the elevator and pushed the button. "I knew that man was bad news."He thought."I cannot believe he hurt Adrine.Adrine is such a great man.I wonder if they knew each other,some of the officers said he was a well known drug dealer. I'm sure Adrine would have told me when i asked." The elevator doors opened and Lolita ran out nearly knocking Rudolf off balance. "I'm sorry,I have to hurry Rud-" Rudolf said to himself,"wow some apology that was." Shaking his head he entered the elevator,and noticed Grace was in there as well. "Just the man I wanted to see!"she said coming in close to Rudolf. Surprised by this he backed away in the confinement of the elevator. "What did you need Grace." talking with her hands,"Well I herd the gunshots and seen two men on stretchers! what happen? Did someone Die? All I herd was banging then gunshots and screams,some kids and crying!" Smiling he replied,"Grace,please calm down.Everyone will be informed within the week.[the elevator door opened to her floor,he held the door so it wouldn't close and she would leave] Just be patient and you will receive the information you wish." She shook her head yes and left the elevator. As the doors closed he remembered when he first seen Grace...
It was the summertime and she was dressed in a flowing sea foam green dress. She looked like a super model with her auburn hair in a loose curly bun with strands on either side of her face,and those green eyes. She walked into his office and spoke like an angel. Ever since that day he has looked for an opening to ask her out on a date.
Walking into his apartment he made sure no one was looking then unlocked his door and stepped inside.
Lolita got out of the cab and ran into New City Hospital. "How may i help you?" the desk clerk asked seeing her hurry. "I'm looking for Adrine Perez." she said catching her breath. The clerk looked on the computer then replied,"He is on the second floor.Room 231." She thanked the clerk and made her way to the room. Lolita began to think,"How am I going to start this apology.I never meant for him to get hurt.I seen Minerva struggling to find Analisettes apartment told her which one,then ran into Charlie looking for Minerva and told him where she went. I didn't want Adrine to get hurt,or anyone else for that matter.What am I going to do?How am I going to apologize?" She stood close to the door,and herd Analisette inside with Adrine. "There is nothing good on TV right now,"Adrine said. "Put it on that guy who does web video jokes hes hilarious." Analisette replied. They pointed out the funny parts to one another and laughed together. Lolita took a deep breath and told herself,"At least their in a good mood." Then she knocked on the door. Analisette got up from her chair and walked over to the door and questioned what she wanted and why she was there. Lolita began,"I would like to start my three part apology by saying I'm sorry for everything i did to you in our past,Secondly [she looked at Adrine] I'm sorry that I told Charlie that Minerva was inside  Analisettes apartment,and lastly[she looked at both of them] I'm sorry that I am the way that I am.I'm going to change,this has made me want to change for the better." Adrine and Analisette looked at each other then back to her. Analisette spoke first,"Lolita I could never forgive you for what you did to me back then,you were a horrible person,and that is how I will always see you." Lolita looked down ashamed of herself. Then Adrine spoke,"If I would have died or if Charlie died that would make you an accessory to this crime,I'm sure you seen his anger,but still you chose to lead him to the reason for his anger. Would you tell a murderer where a girl who was alone was?" Lolita looked up at Adrine and her eyes began to water, she felt her whole life be taken from her through his words. Analisette walked over to Adrine and said,"Your lucky nothing happen to him Lolita,[looking at her]because then you would have to deal with me.Leave.Never talk to us again. We wont speak of your actions.If you choose to continue the path your walking then that's your decision.But for now get the fuck out of our face." Lolita left with tears streaming down her face. Analisette held Adrien's hand,looked down at him and said,"Ive always wanted to tell her that." "I was lost in the "We" and "Us" baby,nothing else matters as long as i have you." he said looking up at her. She bent down and pressed her lips to his and they seen the fireworks they had only dreamed about...
