Analisette sat in Le Petite Cafe in Paris with her leather bound journal and began to write lyrics for her next performance. She had arrived three months before and had performed over twenty shows. Her recognition was growing, and the public demanded more. "As the leaves change in Paris,I wonder if here will be the destination where i find that one to cherish.." She wrote then looked around the cafe at all the couples sharing a cup of coffee or tea. Analisette felt alone since she had arrived in Paris, she knew that being with someone or finding someone wasn't the reason for the trip but having someone would make living easier. "..Surrounded by all yet feeling the moment less lavish,Without someone at home mindset parish.." She wrote. A man walked by her and up to the worker and spoke in broken french. Analisette looked at how stunning he was, light brown hair gently brushed back missing a few strands, white skin without imperfection gleaming like a shooting star. His style was remarkably urban for Paris bomber coat, fitted jeans, and basketball shoes. Noticing her eyes had been on him a moment too long she focused on her writing,"..Tarnished is the moment before,Giver of Love I crave one more.A delightfully devine man ,time be still to allow him to take my hand..." Analisette was so fixated on her writing she didnt realize he was siting across from her. "Tu parle English?" He asked gently. Analisette looked up and shook her head yes. "Ah,so what brings you to my city?"He said with a slight accent. "Work."She said with a smile. "What do you do?" he said with returning smile. "I'm a poet."She said confidently. He shook his head and absorbed her reply. "What do you do?"Analisette asked curiously. He reached down into his pocket and took out a card and handed it to her. She read it: Jean Luc Guese Fashion Consultant. His number and address was also written and a professional picture was on the back. Analisette was impressed and made it known. "So where are you from?" Jean Luc asked. "I'm from New City." She said wondering if it was smart to tell him that. "Interesting, you don't seem like the typical New Cityan.I get the calm, refined, sweet aura from you." He said in disbelief. Analisette looked away remembering her past and Lolita then replied," I'm not perfection,my past is full of hurt and pain like anyone else,i just choose to let the past live in a memory and allow the present to thrive in the moment." Jean luc looked at her amazed,"Such emotion in an answer, i admire that." Analisette smiled.
They dated then took it to the next step.Everything moved so quickly. To her living life with Jean Luc was a dream, every moment was full of mystery and passion. She fell in love with the spontaneous nature of their relationship. She was completely committed to him. Then his flaws became clear through the speeding days.
"Ok Jean I'm leaving to a performance."She said grabbing her coat. Jean luc stood in the door frame with anger replied,"Performance?Perform what?" Analisette looked at him in shock,"My poetry.I haven't performed in two months and there is an open mic tonight." Jean luc grabbed her coat from her hands and threw it on the floor,"Liar, your going to meet that man again!" Analisette bent down and picked up her coat,"My program director? What do you think he is to me?I'm not fucking him Jean I'm happy with you!" He grabbed her coat and got face to face with her,"I don't believe you!You talk to him everyday, always texting or emailing! He wants you!Why would any man speak to a woman that much?!" Analisette began to cry,"So why are you with me?!You don't trust me!You cannot love without trust!" Jean looked at her tears then held her close to his chest,"I don't want you to cry.Its just that I don't want to loose you." Analisette wiped her tears and said,"Fine,I wont go tonight.Ill go next time."
It had occurred every time Analisette wanted to go out without him.He didn't understand. He wanted to keep her close enough to keep an eye on her. She met his family and found love for each and every member. Then she told him of her past. Of Lolita, of the party,of her mistakes. She hoped he would see how she changed, but he only seen what she did as if it were yesterday. He made her face her mistakes with each and every fight. He alienated her from her work, her friends, and her art. Yet she still stayed out of "love". Until she couldn't lie to herself anymore.
"You don't fucking trust me,we always fight,I'm sick of this shit!" She yelled at him as the winter air blew around them. "I could do so much better than you.I'm just going to leave and find someone way better." He replied. "So leave! I'm not keeping you here!"She said. "If I leave I'm never coming back."He replied trying to hurt her.Analisette laughed,"You think i want someone who will judge me for my mistakes! Do you think i want someone who doesn't support my art?! Do You fucking think I want someone who will hurt me everyday!"She said with tears pouring down her face.
He pleaded with her to let him stay.Promised change.Promised he would support her art.Analisette was done with him and his empty promises of change. She sent him to his mothers house and left him at her whim. She never looked back.
The months went quickly. She performed at every opportunity that confronted her.Analisette used her art as a cure to her heartache, and the people loved it.Her fan base grew each performance. Everyone wanted to know who she was and what she was about.Analisette wouldn't deny her people what they wanted,so she left her heart on the stage with each performance.Time went quickly and her one year trip was reaching its end.
"Analisette will you perform tonight? Its your last night here and the last fifteen performances were epic.I know you were writing about Jean Luc for each performance, but the people adore you and you cant leave them empty. Please come out tonight." Her program director demanded on the phone. Analisette thought for a moment then replied,"Ok Frank ill be over there in a half hour." Analisette got ready and walked to the nearby club.
"And Now you all know her, New Citys own Analisette!" Frank said on the stage as he signaled her to come up. The club was packed, and everyone applauded when they herd her name. Analisette walked on stage and spoke,"Thank you all. This is my last performance in Paris I leave for New City tomorrow.I just want to say before I start I appreciate you and your city for giving me the opportunity to share my gift with both of you. This poem is titled Sweet Good bye." She took a slight step back from the microphone then bowed her head and remembered her words.Stepped forth, looked up passed the spotlight ,and seen Jean Luc in the crowd awaiting her words. She let her words speak to him...
